Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is currently meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, behind closed-doors in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It is believed that the acting president summoned the IGP over the invasion of the National Assembly Tuesday morning by men of the Nigeria Police and Department of State Services (DSS).
Whereas, Osinbajo had earlier been scheduled to be in Lagos Tuesday to attend an event on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), it is believed that the early siege laid to the National Assembly by security operatives forced him to put off the trip for now.
