President Muhammadu Buhari is currently holding a closed-door meeting with a former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Solacebase learnt that the meeting that has in attendance the APC national chairman Adams Oshiomhole, was initially scheduled for the weekend, but Senator Kwankwaso objected on the ground that he had political meetings to attend in Kaduna at the weekend.
Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso representing Kano Central at the National Assembly has being having a running battle with his former deputy who is presently Kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje over the control of the party structure whereby Kwankwaso’s faction of the party leadership in the state failed to be recognized by the APC national leadership
The national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, is already engaging in peace meetings with aggrieved party members who are on the verge of dumping the party
