Daneji Community Development Association in Kano has launched “Daneji Amintacciyya Foundation” to undertake developmental programmes in the area.
Presenting the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C) certificates at the Annual General Meeting of the association held at the residence of Alhaji Mutari Dangana, Daneji Quarters on Sunday, the chairman of Daneji Amintacciyya Youths Association Alhaji Salisu Mai Manja Daneji said the foundation would also work towards promoting unity and mutual understanding amongst the members of the Daneji community and its neighbourhood.
Alhaji Salisu Mai manja added that, the foundation will also render humanitarian and communal social services to those in need as well as promoting skill acquisition and poverty alleviation.
The foundation has Alhaji Mutari Dangana as chairman and Barrister Maliki Kuliya Idris as secretary.
The members are the Accountant General of the federation Alhaji Ahmed Idris, Vice chancellor of National Open University (NOUN) Professor Abdallah Uba Adamu and Sarkin Fulanin Ja’idinawa District Head of Garun Malam Alhaji Abubakar Gwadabe Buhari.
Others are Hajiya Tafada Abubakar Babba Dan’agundi, Alhaji Abbas Inuwa, Alhaji Basiru Baba and chairman of Daneji Amintacciyya Youths Association Alhaji Salisu Mai Manja.
The chairman has also inaugurated four sub committees that would render social services that will uplift the living standard of the community.
The committees are education committee under the leadership of Malam Mansur Bashir while Alhaji Tijjani Sani chaired the health committee.
Others are employment committee headed by former permanent secretary and chief executive officer of Abubakar Rimi Television(ARTV) Dr. Faruk Umar Usman and skill acquisition assigned to Alhaji Mustapha Ahmad Wali.
