NOUN Matriculates 16,000 Students

The National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN, will admit 16,033 students across the country into the university on Saturday, June 23 in its 17th Matriculation Ceremony,.

In a statement, the director of media and publicity of the university, Ibrahim Sheme, said the ceremony will be holding simultaneously at the 78 study centres of the university across the country.

He said the event will serve as a platform to formally welcome all freshmen admitted into the university for the 2017/2018 academic session.

According to  Sheme, the central ceremony will be held at the Abuja Model Centre, Dutsen Alhaji, Abuja, where the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Abdalla Uba Adamu, is expected to welcome the fresh students and matriculate them into the university.
