Adamawa state government has declared three days of mourning starting from today 18th Monday 2018 over the death of the Governor Chief of Staff Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta who died in the early hours of Monday.
A statement signed by the Commissioner for Information Ahmed Sajoh and forwarded to Solacebase said Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta burial will take place in masjeed Haram by 4, O’clock Saudi time after Asir prayer which is 2, 0clock Nigerian time.
It said the late Chief of Staff was in Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj which he completed before falling sick.
The statement said the state governor Muhammad Umar Bindow urged the state residents to pray for the deceased for God to grant him eternal rest.
The statement noted that late Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta would have been 60 years in November.
He is survived by an aged father , a wife and eleven children
