Saudi Confirms Eid Al-Fitr On Friday; Shawwal Moon Sighted

The crescent of the Shawwal moon was seen in Saudi Arabia on Thursday evening by the moon-sighting committee.

Therefore, Friday will be the first day of Eid Al Fitr.

The UAE moon-sighting committee is also likely to make an announcement soon.

Solacebase recalled that Niger Republic sighted the moon of Shawwal  yesterday and  observed Eid El- Fitr on Thursday.
