The spokesman for Sokoto State governor Imam Imam, is dead. He was aged 41.
Imam Imam died after a brief illness at an Abuja hospital in the early hours of Friday.
Solacebase learnt that he was hospitalized five days ago at Nizamieye Turish Hospital in Abuja over some health complication.
The late Sokoto state governor Media Aide studied Journalism at Kaduna Polytechnic and began his Journalism career at New Nigerian Newspapers in Kaduna. He later joined This Day Newspapers where he rose to the position of Political Editor.
He served as Special Adviser on Media to Aminu Waziri Tambuwal when he was the Speaker of House of Representatives between 2011 and 2015.
Until his death Imam Imam was Special Adviser on Media to Sokoto State Governor and he is survived by two wives and four children.
Solacebase was informed that funeral prayer for the deceased will hold at 2pm at Annur Mosque in Abuja
