PDP Accuses Kano Commissioner Of Police Of Partisanship

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP on Friday accused Kano Police Commissioner Rabiu Yusuf of partisanship, unprofessional conduct becoming of a police officer as his efforts to prevent the party’s program in Gaya local government tomorrow Saturday depict he works for the state government.

The PDP plans to receive Kano former gubernatorial candidate of the PDM in 2015 general election Engr. Bashir Ishaq Bashir and thousands of his members  into PDP tomorrow at a grand reception in Gaya local government area.

Kano state PDP Chairman Senator Mas’ud El- Jubril Doguwa while addressing journalists in the state on Friday, expressed surprise that after notifying the Police, the party was advised to call off the program.

Senator Mas’ud El- Jubril Doguwa said the party does not need the approval of the police to conduct any activity but out of courtesy the party informed the police only to be advised to suspend the program.

The Party chairman however vows to hold the program tomorrow without recourse to the police, advising the CP to steer clear of politics as he has never stopped any program of the APC in the state but rather that of the oppositions.

Solacebase recalled that Police Commissioner Rabiu Yusuf was accused of the same crime by the Kwankwasiyya group of the APC on many occasion  of advising them to call off their program such as the mass wedding organized by the group last year and the home coming of leader of the Kwankwasiyya group Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on 30th January 2018.
