A former Registrar of Bayero University Kano, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed Ibrahim, popularly known as Y.A. Ibrahim is dead.
Family sources told Solacebase that Ibrahim died at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) on Thursday, after a protracted illness.

The sources said the late administrator will be buried at Farm Centre cemetery , after the observance of funeral prayers at about 4.30pm.
He retired from the service of Bayero University, Kano in 1994.
Late Y. A. Ibrahim , an Ebira from Kogi State, is survived by many Children and grand children
A true and committed university administrator is gone. May the Almighty Allah forgive his errors totally and reward his good deeds abundantly.
